your Gear Cut components. All styles of gears can be made
including Spur Gears, Bevel Gears, Helical Gears, Worm and
Wheels, Rack and Pinions sets, Splines - both internal and external
along with Keyways, Thread cutting and Screw Cutting.
Metric or Imperial sizes can be machined as required.
In many cases we make new gears and worm and wheels from obsolete
parts, which saves the cost of purchasing new machinery, this keeps
capital purchases to a minimum. Our quick turnaround service helps to
keep your equipment up and running.

  In
all gear cut products it is important to use the correct materials,
to ensure long life and maximum wear properties.
Steels are machine
turned, splined, gear cut etc, and then where applicable through
hardened, flame or case hardened.
Then ground to give the correct fit for bearings and seal
journals.
Parts are then Rockwell tested to confirm the correct hardness /
toughness has been achieved.
Blade materials, Tool
steel, D2 steel and special RWL34 Stainless Steel can be hardened,
tempered, ground and hardness tested.
We have the facilities to harden and temper smaller components
in-house, giving
a low cost, quick turnaround service, without high minimum order
charges.
